DRAWERS‘ 2014 self-titled second full-length showcases a great progression towards more Southern Rock influences than on their previous, more Doom-y / Sludge-y stuff, and that’s definitely for the better! Even though their debut was definitely a blast, that new one is a clear statement that DRAWERS have found their way, cutting away from the more Metal and Hardcore gimmicks of 2011’s “All Is One” to come back with something way more personal, full of grooves but not letting away the sometimes bitter or even sad mood that fits that sun burt road trip soundtrack so well. Truly a masterpiece!
